Welcome to the East Windsor Public schools library media center

Our school library media centers are a resource for students and staff alike, providing access to a variety of books, periodicals, tools, information, and information technology.  Our goal  is to ensure every member of our school community has equitable access to these resources.  School libraries are distinct from public libraries because we are as Betty J. Morris wrote in her book ‘Administering the School Library Media Center’,  libraries are “learner-oriented laboratories which support, extend, and individualize the school’s curriculum… A school library serves as the center and coordinating agency for all material used in the school.”

Playaway Audiobook Permission Slip

Audiobooks enable your child to hear a story that is too difficult to read alone.  It is easier to read new words in print after hearing them spoken. Here’s the link.
